  4. pablo Says:

i must admit they have some English language skills for someone that grew up in an efen HUT with a straw roof.

  5. Russ Says:

Well, I too recieved this. At first, I just deleted it. Then I got an email saying we have been paid, you are not going to have to send any money ever. Tack to that the fact that I did know a Professor Jurgen Krugger, in Electrical Engineering when my Husband was alive.

Well I am an idiot then.

  8. Lisa Says:

Well, guess what? I also knew dear old mr krugger also. Or my father did. With me being half german and my father living in germany I called him to ask why they just didn’t notify him and he said he never heard of this guy. Big shock!!! Stupid idiots just cost me long distance minutes. Glad to know I was not the only one to recieve this one.

ALas poor Krugger he has gone to the great beyond with a kiss to me and the babies. I now have to figure out a way to track down all his blood sucking lawyers who gave away his Sugar Momma’s money away to strangers… And beat their stuffins out with a big stick. OMMMMMM…..

  13. Prairie Says:

Yep they scammer have a rude awakening a coming…..

  14. inez Says:

    Yay, I am rich!
God bless Kruggers little cotton socks.
    Thank you soooooooooooooooo much
    LOL

  15. Joanne Says:

Oh Well… I guess my inheritance is up for grabs for some other “poor” unsuspecting soul. I just can’t get over how everyone of us have met our dear departed, “Mr. Krugger”, and never even knew it.

  16. Jasmin Says:

tell this people to use their time for something good not evil work or just do good deed and give their time to volunteer in the war.

  17. Annika Svensson Says:

Fan ta dom JÄVLARNA! (Swedish). WHY? Why? Do the foul peopel like this. I didn´t beliv them. But some day they foul some one, and take there money. Cant some one stop them. STOPPA DOM JÄVLARNA!

  18. Jørgen Sibbesen Says:

Well 1 thing is for sure. Since we are so many that has to share the money… I don’t want it! anyone can have my share…

BTW: I’m NEVER going to Africa! The damn place is cursed! Apparently a lot of my unknown but very rich relatives has been there and died! So far I’m up to about 545.000.000!!!! guess I’ll wait till it gets up to a billion, than it might be worth the risk!

  19. diane Says:

I just got the email and they almost had me until they asked for a copy of my ID.

I maybe a little silly but I’m absolutly not dumb…I told them to go floge a goat.

  20. treva Says:

I recieved the letter also, I thought it was funny that jurgen left his dresses to his late wife. What was they thinking

  21. Monica Says:

I just got the same email today and immediately quit my job!!!! I’m rich bitch!!!!!! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Jim Says:

I guess I just found out I’ve got relatives around the world as well. I guess my memories slipping, I don’t recall meeting him as well, but I’m now on the THIRD AND FINAL NOTICE. Funny thing is, everytime they send it he’s died on a different day and year.
I must be the luckiest SOB on the planet, not only the inheritence but I’ve also won the UK Lottery at least 35 times. How about that!

  23. MARC JONES Says:

SAME SHIT HER BT I THINK ITS REAL… OR NOT

  24. Joyce Monte Says:

I got the same email. I asked for their Firm email address and asked why they have a gmail or hot mail. Damn just thought I won the big J.

  25. Curt Charles Says:

Come on - it reads “but it is real and true”, so it must be, huh? I guess we all get these ’cause the scammer just needs 1 or 2 fools to reply. “A fool and his money soon go separate ways” and “caveat emptor” apply!

  26. Carole Says:

    Hey that’s my $30.1M!!

In fact today I have learned that I have been given about $200M in total from all over the world!! I just keep firing them off to the special RCMP unit that deals with these things!!

It’s hard to believe people fall for this.

I got the best one ever yesterday and nearly p….d my pants I laughed so hard….it was from “Bernie Madoff’s wife”….wanting my help to move money and possessions out of the country because her husband has some legal issues.

The writers of these fantasies must think we are all stupid. What they don’t realise is that if they moved the decimal point a couple of positions to the left they would probably get more takers on their schemes!! The amounts are so outrageous - but many would probably be sucked in if they amounts were smaller….

  27. Fab Says:

$30M! uncle Jurgen is disappointing me, that’s only 2%, I thought I was worth more than that… And you Mr pretend Richard Gilbert Associates, make a nice bundle with you monopoly notes, stuff them up your @r$e and have a w@nk

  28. lori Says:

i apparantley met him because i am a good humantarian. advised i would await my money in a check via snail mail that old mr krugger must have my snail mail if he left me that much!!!!!

  29. John Sorenson Says:

Isn’t it amazing, that this nearly identicle scam goes out with the same name (Jurgen Krugger) and amount ($30,000,100.) You would think they would at least change these somewhat.

Anyhow, I got all the same letters but mine came from a Barrister Daniel Amen of Johnson & Lowry Chambers. They started calling me at 3:00 am and I hung up. Finally called during daylight hours and I could barely understand this very Asian sounding guy. He also writes just like he sounds. No attorney in London would be that dumb, nor am I. I did call the High Court in London, and they also were Asian. Where did the Queen go?

  30. Pat Says:

Wow look at all of us who must have met Mr Krugger and made such an impression that he left us each 30,100,000. Don’t want it - put me in a different tax bracket. Do they really think we will fall for something like this. If i believed all the spam emails, I get concerning deal relatives or people wanting to leave me money, not to mention all the lotteries and sweepsteaks I continally win, I would be he richest man in the world. Not likely.

  31. Brandy Says:

Yep, I got it too. From the sound of the other comments I am npot going to reply. I am just going to delete it. Thank you for the warnings.

  32. Janay Says:

I am completely distraught to hear that my dear uncle Jurgen died three years ago. But I am ecstatic to learn that i am rich. So my thanks to uncle Jurgen.

  33. prince Says:

hi ive had three of these bloody e.mails and yep pretty good english in nigeria orf whatever miserable little shits.

  34. KIM JACK Says:

I want you all to knw that the issue of scam is a lie because so many does not beleive but i want you to know that some are for real i am from tokyo.

So beleive it because i have collect a large sum of money from it as a next of kin to one of my lost relative.

    Tanks

    Mr. Kim J.

  35. Gail Says:

How sad….. didnt even know the guy…. I feel bad for people who might just be gullible enough to answer… the elderly, the very young, and the just plain stupid. If it seems it is too good to be true….GUESS WHAT…. it is
    Gail(USA,Florida)

  36. ed Says:

Who wants to be a millionaire?

  37. gayane Says:

yup i also got that e-mail at first i was like hell yeah but then it was written too perfectly soo i figured something was up then i found this site and i was like yup i knew it was a scam..

  38. David Askwith Says:

poor old jurgen didnt even address me by my name = wonder if he used my email address in his will

  39. Ed Says:

Ya had me goin there for a minute.

  40. Barristar Amen Says:

  41. Maria Says:

Hi, I’ve been getting that e-mail too and was going to write back telling them all the reason why I didn’t believe their crap, ex the e-mail they sent it from was whetstone@osu.edu ( Ohio State University) funny a law firm from the Uk would use such mail, they never mention my actual name, another e-mail they use is one from 8u8.com, if you google that domain the first things that shows up is a report from 419scam apparently that domain uses 449 address linked to internet scams,
plus I also have been receiving e-mail about a “lottery” that I apparently won in the UK, the e-mail also from osu.com.

After finding this site I decided no to write back and post this here.

What I wonder is: Who the hell falls fro these scams? and how do they get our e-mail addresses?
And what happens once someone send them the requested info to “win de money”?
    ANyone know?

  42. Chris Says:

Just received this email today. I’m glad an important notice such as this ended up in my spam mail.

  43. Tony Says:

I followed it all the way through and got $30,100,000 deposited into my bank account…..If you believe that then you probably will follow through with this stupid scam…..lmfao

  44. Teresa Says:

How do these people get away with this. How may people are involved in setting this up. They have a website and post money on it like a bank and it looks so real. I was one of the stupid ones I guess that everyone refers to. I have been going thru a tough time and not really in my right mind I guess the more that I think about it that I should have known better. I did send some money and then they kept asking for more so I stopped but am out the first amount that I sent. What a lesson to learn. It looked so real. They even called me on the phone to talk about what to do and everything. I feel so dumb. Hope no one else is this foolish.

  45. DKD Says:

Thats nothing, these little snots couldn’t even get the Mr/Mrs right with my name… Um… How many Dawns do you know that are men? Some say they would like to get up at the crack of Dawn, but they all have a name and it aint Dawn…. Anyway, poor Uncle K. my heart goes out to him and his family…
Mrs K, lets get together about those dresses Mr K bought you cause if I can not have the 30M then maybe I can buy a dress or two…

  46. NewMillionare Says:

Isn’t Jürgen Krügger such a nice guy!

I mean i thought i was lucky getting a good ol’ 30 mil but to give 30 mil to everyone? Such a nice guy!

Seriously, if they are even considering being succesful at this scam, dont you thing 30 mil is a bit to much for a guy you don’t know? And John Citizen is a better name than Jürgen Krügger!

  47. michael Says:

I don’t understand these scams. What do they get from us if we respond. So what if they get my isp address and send cookies. I scan my computer daily for bots, trogens etc. My name, number and address is in the phone book? What do they what from me, as they have not asked for any money from me and have asked for nother other than basic and already public info. Writing satirical comments doesn’t help. If you know what these scammers what and what they can do with the basic info they ask for, state it and enlighten us all.

  48. Lon Says:

And I’d feel bad if I tore apart some kid whose friends used his email to play a prank on him. *sighs*

  66. the joker Says:

Don’t be fooled by these scams. I receive more and more each day from London and Nigeria. They must think we are nuts. Any reputable law firm would be conatcting you by name and directly, not through an email that goes out to thousands of unsuspecting suckers.

Read it and delete. Better yet….don’t even open it!

    Regards, Union Jack

  67. aj Says:

I got the same email, but from Hugh Jones & Associates in Manchester England. Googled him on a legitimate lawyer’s listing, and his name and business address appears on it. It’s possible scammers are using the names of real lawyers for their schemes.

  69. Jefferson G Says:

I was in a public chat room approached by a sexy interested hot bod from Ghana in Africa. We chatted a while then went to msn to use cams. Only problem was I needed to western union 25.00 to the hotty so a private room could be reserved.

Of course that didnt happen but within 2 days I had won 2 lotteries in the UK, and got my 1st letter from dear old uncle Jurgens Barrister. I replied but never sent money, and emails went back and forth. Finally a courier had arrived at LaGuardia in New York on the way to Miami with the cash in a case. All I needed to do was authorize a 1200.00 “fee” so the case of money could pass through customs unopened. I offered on the phone to stop at MIA ( Miami International Airport) and do the transaction with the customs there. Of course that wasn’t acceptable. I told both the man (the “courier”) and woman (from customs, who didnt know what was in the case) but got so frustrated with me she said “I dont know how much is in there” ! I and my office mates cracked up, we had her on speaker it was hilarious.

  78. EFRAIN Says:

I got one of those emails from that f*****g Jurgen guy and here is my response:
F U SCAM ARTIST. I CAN SEE YOUR ENGLISH IS IMPROVING SO KEEP WRITING YOUR STUPID LETTERS AND PRETTY SOON YOU WILL BE FULLY BILINGUAL LIKE MYSELF. WHO THE F**K IS JURGEN KRUGGER I NEVER MET THE BASTARD HE SOUNDS LIKE A F*****G NAZI AND I HATE THOSE BASTARDS SO USE A DIFFERENT NAME WILL YA. OH, BY THE WAY HERE IS A HYPERLINK OF ALL OF MR KRUGGER RELATIVES. YEAH, YOU RIGHT HE WAS A WELL TRAVELLED -SPREADING HIS SEED- KIND OF MAN, LOL http://www.smellsphishytome.com/2008/08/dear-ol-uncle-jurgen-krugger-left-me-a-30-million-inheritance/

  79. John doe Says:

damn I’m gonna be a billionaire by the time I’m twenty, this is my second inheritance.

  80. Jaime Nobrega Says:

I have also received seveal letters from those M. F. Barristers, and look, I’m not evenan English speaking native. I live in Brazil and have never met such Jurgen Krugger. I’ve sent them e mails saying theta I believe it’s a scam, but still, the M. Fs. continue sending the same shit.

  81. Cassandra Says:

Mailer Daemon has been bottlenecked with returns on the reply to this one! Mine came from a Mary Madden @ student.westwood. I replied asking if there were a fee to claim the inheritance. Mailer Daemon promptly kicked it back to me . What I really want to note is the fact that the terminology in the notification letter does not sound like an English speaking person , especially someone practicing law in England or America. I was invited to email a Barrister William Palmer , Esq .I was so tickled that a powerful and wealthy man I had never heard of before would know my email address , but no hint of my mailing address or residence . By the way, we aren’t inheriting anything in dollars. It is in British pounds - less than dollars. Even in dollars , we wouldn’t have much after taxes and whatever in two countries. So , I chuncked the inheritance notification into the same place with all of the other inheritance notifications , lottery winnings and what have you : delete , permanently delete and in a few days it will all be gone when my computer goes in to be cleaned out. One sad point is that any of us really could get a legitimate notice to contact someone about a bona fide windfall and we will not even open it because of the scammers . I did delete one email from a friend in another state because I didn’t recognize her email address. Her sister had died and wanted me to have a keepsake as a reminder of all the great things we’d shared through the years. Fortunately , my address was found in a box of letters that had been saved over time. Damn scammers nearly cost me a treasure of the heart .

  82. Peedmygotchies Says:

I’m seeing a lot of questions as to why these scammers want our information; some of which is available by just going to your local phone book. But that’s not the only infortmation they want. They want your social insurance numbers or social security numbers, driver licenses, birth certificates, etc…with these, they can reproduce fake passports and visas or in some cases, go to the embassy of the country of the person they are trying to impersonate and get new id by saying they lost theirs. The more they know about you, the easier it is for them to steal your identity. Some do it for financial reasons while others do it so they can get into another country. Some are desparate….some just don’t want to get caught. Remember 9/11……this is how some terrorists actually got INTO the USA!! IF you really had won or inherited anything, be assured you would NOT be contacted via email. You would receive a registered letter in the mail and no one, not even the high priced lawyer, would ask you for money!!!!

You can help put a stop to these scams. Forward these emails to your local authorities such as local police, FBI, RCMP. They have units that are dedicated to going after these scammers. Don’t fall for them…..do something about them!!!

  83. jenny Says:

i received the same email so i replied telling them it had been forwarded to the appropriate authorities and my solicitor as they are being sued and will be prosecuted the muppets replied and from a different email address which has been traced and i am waiting further news as to how many people are involved its only one small amount of these scammers but its a few less
